Planning to buy a Canon 40D

i'm planning to buy a 40D as a back up body.
a store near my place have a brand new 40D for 350euro. it's their last remaining stock and i'm planning to buy it.

is it a wise decision?
am i getting a good deal?

Wow that's a great price! They usually sell for about that much used. I'm in love with my 40D units! I have failed to see much benefit in the 50D and 7D over the 40D for what I do. It is my most favourite camera and used the most by FAR, even among my FF and stupidly expensive bodies.

heck you cant go wrong, if you dont like it you can actually make money on the deal for that price.

Check the box to make sure the charger, battery and software cd and manuals are in there. That is a good camera and I have shot many thousands of pics ranging from sports to scenic stuff to wildlife.

I think you should camp out on their doorstep overnight! :-)
