I chose the Tokina as it better fit my shooting style. Constant aperture and I didn't need a lot of range.

Plus it was cheaper.

But, I tried the Canon and it is a nice lens as well.

Have you considered the Tokina 12-24? Great lens, constant f/4, very useful range, and would pair nicely with your 24-105. And it's considerably less expensive than the 11-16.


Gear: Canon 7D, Tokina 12-24 f/4, Canon 24-105L f4, Canon 70-300L, Canon 60 macro f/2.8, Speedlite 580 EXII, 2x AB800

def. go with the 11-16 researched it bout a month before i picked one up from a member here. i'm currently waiting for delivery. CAN'T WAIT to get it.
