I may be at this stage as well. Will see what the rest of the weekend brings.

On a different note, I finished up at my job today. Starting a new one on Monday morning. Was kind of odd leaving this afternoon, and the adjustment from going from an operational pathology job to a desk job is going to strange.

Thanks guys :D

John, it is still somewhat related to what I was doing. This one is working on the support side of the laboratory information management system that Pathology Queensland uses and depending what happens over the next few months, will still be in and out of hospital labs anyways. Only difference will be, I have configuration powerrr

First one from me. I ran into Dave (dG) a few times throughout the day. Of course, he had a shiny press pass and was shooting from the other side of the fences

Perhaps Greg could speak at a lecture night - after all, if the talk is more on photographic technique and less on digital capture then I imagine that it would be more effective this way.

Hi guys, i am heading out for a session with a local photographer here in Brisbane on saturday as a gift from my wife. Have just headed back to brisvegas after living overseas for a while.

So am looking for some suggestions for the following ideas
good sunrise location in brisbane?
Also very keen to capture some of brisbanes old character. Very interested in any spots people can suggest around this subject. Old buildings, bit of urban character that kind of thing. We are thinking around west end, boggo road, dutton park area. Theres an old cemetery up there that looks interesting too.

Any ideas would be great! thanks heaps.

Dave

Thought, I'd give this place a bump...

My birthday is coming up on the 23rd, rumour has it a Tamron 17-50 f2.8 and Canon BG-E2N battery grip could be presented to me as gifts, to accompany my 50D, 50mm f1.8 II and 70-200 f4 L.

:D

Not bad :)

I didn't get any camera kit for my birthday this year - but then, I did get a shiny new Prado only 2/5 months prior to it.

This poor old thread is kind of hibernating. Coincidentally since I have moved to Adelaide this thread has been rather quiet.

It used to be hard to keep up with. Now its weeks between posts.
