Just bought a mk II today. I just paged back through the previous 50 or so pages. I must say, over my 1d mk III, I am completely blown away by the mk ii at high iso.

Vmlopes,

Very nice images. Love the clarity and color in such a low light environment. Great use of shadow. Todd that's one nice photo. Love it.

Here's some from yesterday. Went for some diffusion in natural light. I really like orchids...

Great job everyone! Keep it up.

VM, I'm seriously awed by your work. No one (and I mean no one) can nail that creepy decrepit feel more than you.

Just when I thought I'd arrived! Ah well!:(

Those old projectors are amazing...you capture the atmosphere so well, Victor...I can almost smell the celluloid!
As for Mantovani...I'm old enough to remember Mantovani!

Growing old disgracefully!

Just pulled the trigger on the 5D II, so I hope to be posting some images soon :)

I understand the excitement! I went from a Rebel Xti/400D and forked over serious dough for my 5DM2 a month or so ago. Glad I did. that bad girl can take night shots better than ANY Camera I know.
