Navy Week in Baltimore ended today with Maryland playing Navy in football at M&T Bank Stadium. There was just shy of 70,000 people at the game and perfect weather which made for a great football atmosphere. Maryland ended up winning 17-14 because unfortunately Navy couldn't get a touchdown with 4th and 1 at the goal line with about 35 seconds left.

This was my first football game of the year and I already got run over by a player but at least thats out of the way for the season. Shot these with a D3 and 300 f2.8. Settings were all over the place because of the harsh sun and bad shadows in the stadium. Let me know what you think.

These look great but #1 needs a little rotation to level the crossbar of the goalpost.

Great timing in 4 and 6!

Was this a paid gig OP? I am just wondering how to get on the sideline at college game. I attended this game also but where I was sitting the players looked like ants.

Great shots. Your exposure always looks great! Are they always shot in full Manual mode?

Did I see you get run over while I was watching the game on TV? They just showed less than a second of that and "cut away" to something else. I thought one of he commentators exclaimed, "Oh..." and was about to say something about it, but then continued on with his game statements. Any idea? No offense to Maryland fans, but was hoping that NAVY would score that last TD from inside of the ONE YARD LINE!

Yep that was me. But it was worth it because I got the shot.

Takes me back... I was pulling for my middies but unfortunately they got stuffed. Beautiful shots, btw. Go Navy, Beat Army!
