Bought a couple of these a few months ago and it's been blazing fast and reliable (to full capacity) in both 5Dii and 7D. $59.99 + $2.00 shipping. IMO it's the best deal around.

on amazon, it 2 reviews. 1 saying it's great, the second saying that it failed after 200 clicks. Folks, there is a reason hoodman is 6x the cost, and it's not just speed.

I got 2 cards in June and have gone through thousands of shots and few movies in both 5Dii/7D. As far as I'm concerned, they're as good if not better than SanDisk (now backups).

They are designed for DSLR and comes with lifetime warranty.

Sure, go ahead and pay 6x the price if you so choose. Hoodman is not a memory company. The manufacturing is contracted out... likewise the QA of each card.

in memory cards my experience is you get what you pay for, I have purchased some cheap ones and they worked great.... and then they failed, I was in Costa Rica a few months ago and lost 1/2 a day of shooting and it was a cheap Lexar , had the same problem with a couple of other brands as well

all of the expensive ones I have purchased I have never had a single issue with them, some of them after 3 or 4 years

so yeah its all worth saving the money until you lose something critical, like a trip that cost you thousands of dollars !

I am done buying cheap memory cards for sure

Same experience here. The gold colored "Pro" cards have been great but the platinum not so much.
