A lot of people on [H]ardforums have reported success about calling Dell and asking for a better price on some these monitors. Also, these sales come along once in a while, and you might be able to pick up the U2410 at a discounted price next time.

just got mine to go with my 24"imac and mbp. didn't realize how much a difference 16:9 vs 16:10 is I'm using this new monitor for vertical viewing.

So anyone have tinting issues with these monitors? These are quite a bit cheaper than other IPS type panels are so I'm considering giving Dell another chance.

i Had a bright pixel viewable only when monitor was in portrait mode but dell sent me a new one. i get it tomorrow

I have had 0 issues with me, I ran calibration on it and there was only a slight change once it was completed


Canon 1DMKII, 7D, 5DMKII, 1D MKII
Canon 500L, 100-400L
, 70-200 2.8L, 17-40L, 24-105L, 24mm 2.8,50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.8, 135mm 2.8 SF, 100mm Macro
