HI
I recently bought a used Sigma 120-300 f 2.8. It is in very good condition. There is some "play" in the lower part of the lens. I was wondering if this is normal for this lens or maybe this type of lens?
Thanks!

I'm with alex, can you see movement around any of the screws on the mount end? If there is, those would be your culprits. Rule books are paper they will not cushion a sudden meeting of stone and metal -ekg-

Mine 70-200mm f2.8 iS did have a some play and one day front park came lot more loose. I had to send to canon to get it fixed. 5dmk3, 35L, 85L II, 300mm f2.8 IS I, 400mm f5.6
