I'm not 100% happy with mine, although the 2 shot's below came out ok I get a lot of shift focusing and it's not always 100% accurate..

Got it a week ago, extremely pleased. It appears to be spot on with focus, but not always. My 5Dc is not a champion in focusing neither, so I think it's okay. I'll go to calibration (the shop I bought it from offers calibration for free) nevertheless.

The shot and 100% crop @f/1.4

f2.8 seems to be my sweet spot on this lens.

Well, mine now squeeks while focusing (both auto and manual). I'll be sending it in this week.

Come on...that's a feature! It's for keeping you awake while you're shooting in low light!

I have ordered this lens and its coming within 2 weeks. Influence by those nice photos I am seeing in this forum, aside of course from a good review a have read for these lens over canon. Aside from Front and Back focus issue, what else do I have to check when getting this fantastic lens?

What's this about a new version? Never kept tabs on the Sigmalux but I'm a tad interested in buying it in the next 3-6 months  Is it a new paint job or something else?

Edit: Just went back to the last page. The new finish looks better, I never liked the old finish. Does it feel much different/better? I've used a 70-200 with the old finish but I can't remember how it felt exactly
