....for $254 from Beach Camera. Ive seen photos taken with them, I like it. I have wanted a fisheye for some time now and thought this was a good buy for the monies. Cant justify the cost of Canon fisheyes. I think its a good addition to my kit. I hopefully made a good choice seeing as 19 companies seem to make the same exact lens.

Basically on ff it's a circular (ish) fisheye and on crop it's exactly a diagonal fisheye...

As I understand it, there's one company that makes it, and 19 (or whatever number of) different labels get slapped on it, depending on who ordered them today.

It's a great lens, it uses a different projection then regular fisheyes, but it looks great. Really sharp for a fisheye but for FF the hood has to be shaved. Here are a few shots playing with it:

I dont know how to clasify it if its not a fisheye....

Anyway, I love it. I was playing with it last night and its a rad lens. Not the sharpest, not the brightest and no AF. But the case is well made and the glass seems very high quality. Its definitely the coolest lens for the money out there IMO. Its a lot of fun to play with. I have quite a few big money lens and I like this just as much. Im going downtown for the Irish festival tonight and I plan on bringing it with me for sure. And its sharp enough for what it is I think.

$254 shipped from Beach Camera....get one, you wont regret it

It's a diagonal fisheye on crop, ~circular on FF* (a bit of the circle is cut off at top&bottom)

*You have to remove the hood, which is a part of the lens barrel.

Just snapped these messing around last night at my buddy's wedding....I like this lens. Its not useful at all but fun to play with for 250 bucks. Its not super sharp, but still not that bad. Id like to compare sharpness to other fisheyes.

Are you sure those are in focus?

I was just looking at the other samples and mine is junk. The focus isnt working or something. The apeture ring works but the focus ring is useless. They better not give me any crap about it, I just want a different one.
