I went out this evening to try to shoot Jupiter and moons. I've never tried anything like this before and this was my best shot.

Canon 7D
Canon EF400mm f/5.6L + 2XTC
1 sec f/11 ISO 800 MLU

Nice. Did you try to take any w/ a faster shutter so that we might see the banding on the planet itself?

Almost. Should be able to get it clearer (unless there's some haze in the skies). Though I'd imagine focusing here via live-view might be tricky. :D Go out and do it again!

(I would if I had a 2x TC for my 1-4L. But even then, it's overcast here tonight for me.) :lol:
