wowza Kristy, that is sharp! Love it!

Few more in this gallery.. it's a mix of the 70-200 and my 24-70.... check out the purple flower.... Nice detail for a non-macro lens.... http://ksnyderphoto.smugmug.com …605_WMt9W#609764382_phZ8Z (external link)

The copy I had was backfocusing.. so I ended up sending it back to B&H and sending my body in to Canon for inspection and adjustment.. By the time I had everythign sorted out, my funds had been placed elsewhere.. :( So now I wait and wait, and wait... kiddos need new shoes first... lol..

Hey Gail - have Geno help you find a nice used copy and save a couple of hundred of those Canucks. Buying gently used is a great way to acquire better gear! I have bought and sold plenty that way and it can save a ton.

Here you go - scoring is...different since it is backwards and the best score is the lowest but you'll figure it out. I hope. :)

hahha... thanks for the compliment on my kiddos.... we're in trouble for sure.. 10- going on 16, and 6 with determination. too much fun!

Glad I could help on the thought process... As soon as I can free up enough funds, or sell something, I would love to have this back in my bag. :)

Honestly, anything but what I have.lol. I have the 18-55, 28-135,28-200( redundant) old 75-300.
85L would be nice.lol.as would the 100-400.wide angle as well.love those shots....

Sell the 28-135 and 75-300 and get a Siggy 50 1.4 to play with...;)

You know..... I played with the 85L once... it's impressive to look through.. all that heavy glass makes a person drool...

But honestly, I didn't see enough WOW factor to rationalize the price over the 85 f/1.8 Maybe I'm just too practical... lol.. The 135, however... now THAT'S an amazing lens, as is the 35L... Both on my wish list *someday* (which really means 10-years from now.. :( )

hahahahha!

On another note..... WOWZA!! Nice entries coming in guys.... Love what I'm seeing... this is gonna be hard for a 1st timer in the judges seat!

Happy Tuesday!

The 85L and 50L are truely amazing lens. I have used the 85 1.8, the 50 1.8, 1.4 etc...and the L's are magical. No question to it. Sure they are $$$$$.....but when they are used right...they rock.

The 75-300 is ol and used up, it slips.so not worth anything.but the 28-135.pretty commonplace?
