Those are all very nice, well exposed and nicely rendered shots. Good work.

hi guys
just found this forum
you all did a pretty good job with this camera
I got my SX20 over a month ago & I'm totally satisfied
here's a shot I got a week ago
looking forward to your comments
+ I totally agree with Dan with this "Having the latest and greatest gear doesn't make you a superb photographer, it just allows you to make bigger piles of crap"

Yeah for my first post!
I have had this camera for 8 or so months and after reading a lot of this thread still did not know it could do so much. Thanks for sharing the knowledge.

Okay here are some of my favorites and I hope I am not breaking any rules with size but I don't know how to change it. Critiques welcome!

Here is another I did the same weekend as the Horse.
Playing with some tile patterns as a abstract shot.
I was pleased with the result. :)

Been busy with work and life but have gotten back into photography big time the last few months. Currently own the SX20 but am awaiting a 7d in a few weeks. I am AMAZED at how well this little camera performs.... Comments welcomed

I like train (and tracks) photography and I'm fascinated with the telephoto capabilities of the SX20IS.

The following shot was taken at full optical zoom and hand-held. That milepost 31 sign is just shy of a half-mile away from where I'm standing and those signals in the distance are 1.8 miles away. Farther down the tracks there is a crossing. You can make out a crossing gate near the signal on the left. That crossing is 2.3 miles away.
