I have a 5d and I need a flash set up that I can take to various locations.I already have a couple stands, umbrellas, softboxes, etc so I just need the flashes and a triggering system. Canon EXII flashes are a bit beyond my budget so I'm considering the Yongnuo flashes but need help deciding which ones to get.
If I want a TTL flash the only option for my 5d is the YN468, correct? My friend has a sigma 500 DG Super that he will sell to me for $40 so I will probably buy that. Can it be used with Yongnuo RF-602 or Meike MK-RC7 wireless triggers?
Speaking of triggers, I prefer the Meike because it uses standard batteries so I plan on getting that. But maybe I am better off with a wireless TTL trigger system like the upcoming Phottix Helios system but then I probably need their Photon flashes for it to work. Is TTL worth it seeing as how I'm a novice?
If I do decide to go with the non TTL route which yongnuo flashes should i get 460, 460II, 462, or 560? Prices on ebay, so which one gives me most bang for the buck?
460-$39
460ii-$48
462-$36
560-$74
