technical CC or composition CC?

if this is a product/commercial shoot, then the model's style is too much. but if this was beauty shoot, then the clothes are too much. i'm not big on the darkening at the bottom of the photo. find it kind of distracting.

i do love the background though.

Thanks.

Yes the models clothing is a bit too much, that's why the question was more about the picture then the clothes, I don't like the clothes myself:)....

The shoot was free to a new vintage clothing company, all the clothes are from the 80's. In my opinion vintage is the 20's to 60's. But I'm just the photographer:)

The compression and the soft blur we added in PS.

It was a free shoot and my first indoor shoot, I totally messed up a few of the pics (eyes not in focus) and I'm a little annoyed at myself for that, I didn't stop and think!!!

However, I know what I did wrong....

Thanks mate. As soon as you mentioned that eyes thing, I kicked myself:(. I was rushing and messed up a couple of the pics, so annoyed!! However, I have learnt from my mistake.

How did I get the gig? 10 years of IT Consulting and Business Development helps me when I'm trying to source new business :) I just knew where to look, have lots more shoots booked in. Looks like I need the practice...

Hi Amanda

Very tight f2 on the 50mm lens, I wanted to make sure the backdrop was blurry because it is very bright and it would have taken over the pic (even more).

Will do.

Do you still need some assistance with your wedding in November/December?

use a higher fstop and bring the model further away from the backdrop if you can.
