On Friday at the MCAS Miramar Air show the weather was crappy and the show didnt really start til about noon. When the F-18's came out and did their high speed run i knew there was going to be good vapor formations.

Next time...i'll remember to pull back from 400mm as apparently i wasn't fast enough to catch up....and of course shooting with the 5D MK II, i didn't have the fast enough burst rate to hope for another.... :(

still worth the memories! I have trouble capturing shots with my 5D as well. You'll get it next time!

You've got gobs of cropability so you really didn't need to try and shoot this so tight...
