Just a few photographs from a trip to Alpine Park in Jacksonville Florida. This park is on land that was once an Orange farm, that was later donated to the county for historic purposes. I just picked up the new 70-200 2.8 IS II a few days ago, so this was a good opportunity to stretch the far end of the lens. C&C appreciated.

Yeah, I agree on #1. There is a plaque of sorts to the right front that got in the way of a full shot of the equipment. The shots from the other side have too many weeds, so those didn't turn out either.

Thanks for the feedback on the railroad shots :). Slowly but surely trying to get my composition right...

nice shots, i would maybe recrop afew for example the squirrel one to avoid a bit more of the top.

i had a look on your flickr page too, i like the railshoots too bar the HDR one, they are over done with alot of halo over the trees, maybe im wrong but the hdr kinda spoils the look! i would have gave it a sepia tone with not too much contrast.

Thanks for the feedback. I agree on the HDR, I'm not very good at Photomatix yet, and couldn't get the look I wanted. I'll give a sepia version a try, that's a great idea.

Thanks for the tips!
