Red-Tailed Hawks in flight

I spent the morning chasing Red-Tails and I'm pretty happy with the results.

1 I debated really hard on showing this image or not. I'm so mad that I clipped the right wing but I absolutely love the coloring of this bird so I will share it.

All were taken with the 7D and Canon 400 f5.6L manual exposure 1/1600 f7.1 ISO 400

Not to worry about the clipping Chris. Happens to me all the time with BIF. These are superb shots with excellent lighting and detail.

These are excellent. Well done. I was out at a location for work earlier this week and heard the piercing call of a RTH and looked up and there were 3 of them and coming my way. I couldn't believe it and of course I didn't have my camera. I have a hard time finding 1 normally so that was a real treat.
