Search this forum for "black and white conversions" and see if you can get some tips on how to make them pop more. Basically, your blacks need to be darker and your highlights/midtones brighter - using most programs' automatic conversions aren't really that good. June Day Photography - Junedayphoto.com

Oct 09, 2010 14:47 | #3 Thanks for taking the time to look and providing some very helpful feed back. I know about the concept, but i always feel like i am pushing the blacks and highlights too much. I guess i need to get to a point where i normally think they should be, and then push it a little more, too get the pop. I will try this again and repost the photos with a little more contrast.
