3, 4, and 5 are awesome. In #4, I love it was caught mid air with the flames caught at the back.

That's Liam Doran's rallycross car. Nice to see the Brits competing over there.

Excellent set of shots. The NJ Motorsports Park is a well kept secret. Could do with more from that venue.

Very nice. There a TV Coverage package setup to follow the US series?

Would mind seeing it! ;)

Thanks guys. The weather was terrible on that Sunday. It was warm and sunny on Saturday but I was on Thunderbolt, the next track over, taking some pictures of the Ferrari Club of America. Sunday it was 20 degrees colder and rainy all day, but the 7D held up nicely. Unfortunately, the 2WD cars were spinning their tires all over the mud and could barely get any traction.

Thanks Kenny! I actually live 25 minutes north of there and am there quite often. It's a really nice venue and I really enjoy going there. So many places to get great shots even without a media pass like me and you can walk the paddock freely on both tracks, even when high profile races are there. I'll make some more threads soon from a few recent trips.

dophoto, the track's website said ESPN was there doing coverage and I saw a bunch of TV crews but I don't think they have a air date yet. There are a set of 3 Rally races at NJMP. The last one is November 6-7th so maybe they are waiting for all 3 to complete. I'm not sure if there's a show to cover the whole Rally America series, but this is the first time Rallycross has ever been done in the states. The rest of the series is point to point rally races across the US.

Thanks! dtufino, the park is in Millville, NJ and has 2 full circuits called Thunderbolt and Lightning. Thunderbolt is the longer course and is more technical, and Lightning is the smaller course with a 1.1 mile professional Karting track in the infield. The Lightning course is the one the Rally cars race on with the dirt jump detour and 2 other dirt sections. There's a coupon on their Facebook page right now that is $20 for a carload of people for the last Rally of the season here. Print that out and come on down!
