A sister of a friend says she purchased a 7D lately because Canon would soon be discontinuing the DSLR bodies that use the huge selection of Canon lens'.
Of course I said "No way, not true"
Is there anything to this rumor?

That is by far the most stupid rumor I've ever read here... and your statement implies that she purchased the 7d BECAUSE there will be no more interchangeable lens.

And I'm SURE that's true. I'm going to ask MY neighbor, because his son's brother's wife knows a guy that has a Polaroid, so he should know for sure. The lava pots are bubbly and the sky glows a particular shade of red that photographers value. If you persist in such inflammatory posts a representative of the council will visit you. Those "probe" rumors have a basis in fact. You have been warned.

Nathan Can you repeat the question, please? ![]() More info | Oct 13, 2010 12:02 | #14 thetolleyman wrote in post #11089076 ![]() A sister of a friend says she purchased a 7D lately because Canon would soon be discontinuing the DSLR bodies that use the huge selection of Canon lens'. That would... mean... uhm... discontinuation of ALL Canon DSLRs... did I read that right? Too bad for the 60D since the newest kid on the block is about to be discontinued, too? Taking photos with a fancy camera does not make me a photographer.
