QUOTED IMAGE

nice capture - would have been a magical scene to see...

Sometimes I wish this lens was a "60"-300mm for just a little wider...

Sharing a fun picture from a game this weekend. My first broken bat.

Mine pretty much just does work for outdoor sports.

I would like to upgrade to a 70-200 II 2.8 at some point, with extender III (when they become available). However in the right conditions can still get great pix with the 70-300.

Using a 7D FYI, which seems to expose any issue in a lens IQ.

Congrats on the shot. What do you mean it only works outdoors?

Make sure to post some pics of the game... so others can see what the result was. Good luck

So the pictures are gunna be a lot smaller cuz i'm running out of space on my flickr xD
I took about 190 pictures that night and only processed 14 of them (but there were more that were decent, but i have to conserve space for the homecoming game this friday)

here are a few of them, there are more on flickr (external link)- feel free to comment on them.

Some really nice action shots... hard to comment on such small pictures but I understand the space thing.

Would it be possible to post just one (maybe #1 or #2) so we could get a better feel for the IQ?

3200 rockets launching simultaneously - The Sam Houston Area Council of Boy Scouts of America did this on Saturday outside of College Station, TX. You can see it all over Youtube (look for SHAC JAM Rocket Launch). A new Guiness World Record.

Shot at 6.5 fps
