This is my grandson Jonah at 4 days. 10 pounds, 23 inches at birth. This was a lot more difficult than I thought it would be. Advice for next shoot would be appreciated.

I agree with Stacey8221, try pulling back some and see how you like that. From my experience with my son you don't have all the time in the world before things meltdown. Keep on making memories, this time won't last long. Congrats on the little guy!

Thanks, all, for your kind comments. The joke at the hospital was that my DIL gave birth to a toddler. I was surprised he was picking up his head at 4 days.

Maybe try for some sleeping shots? (I guess the first one was sleeping, but it looks like it would have benefited from switching angles so you weren't shooting up his nose - either overhead, or more profile) Also posing with him in mom or dad's arms?
