I look at this thread everyday and it runs a little hot and cold with posts... so instead of typing several comments to each photo posted let me just say WOW - Some nice shots have been added!!! I love the duck from Immaculens and would have loved to snap a few shots of the 3200 rockets myself (really cool)

I Like To Watch... nice shots too

Nice job with the photos and thanks for posting a larger version of these two. What program do you use to process your images? #2 in DPP could use some noise reduction and it would greatly improve the shot.

Nice work.

in DPP, how do you even use the noise reduction thing? it's always grey-ed out / dissabled for me. When i go into preferences, i can change it there, but it doesn't seem to work.

Very impressive for hand held at 300mm with a 1/125 shutter speed. Nice work

Thanks, I don't know how it came out so sharp, must have been exactly either at the inhale or exhale of my breath... Took about 12 pics and this was the sharp one, just one...

Thank-you much. Saw it close to the moon so I just kept the moon in my VF and it came into the shot... :)

You were definitely at the right place at the time with camera in hand. Very lucky shot indeed! I am jealous :)

Strange thing is - it was the first of its kind for me - for that type of shot - and I've been looking at the new Tamron 70-300 lens thread in the last few days - and what a coincidence! A fellow posted a moon shot ... well see for yourself
