I may have a chance to pick up a EOS 1Ds mark III 21.1 megapixel body, cap, battery, charger, dc coupler, neck strap, cables for $1200.00. This sounds like a good deal. Any thoughts?

Its either broken or its not a mark III...plain and simple. Nobody sells them for that cheap...not even the revengeful wife selling the cheating husbands gear would let one go for that cheap. :p

It's not that plain and simple. That's just nonsense. I know you may think that it's a scam but you can't say that is plain and simple. I don't think he would sell a 350D as a 1ds when u can try it before you buy it lol...
