Right! Winter is gone. Who is up for a shoot this weekend?

Where? I will try and make it... but not holding my breath as I am just back from a trip to Wellington-Wairarapa-Palmy... and the wifey will surely want some time with her to make up for my absence :)

And speaking of shoots, had a chat with Scott the other day -- we should seriously organise another GKPE shoot now that the weather is far better! Ideas anyone?

John;)

Sweet!

I'm shooting in a bar with Jack

A big get together would be a good idea though, it's been a while since we did one.

Like a bloody ghost town in here!

Anyone on here other than Stefan got any experience with the 35L? Opinions appreciated.

Was teaching again today, two of the students are photographers in the PM's office! :D If you see any Dave-esque images coming through of Mr Key I'll have done my job well!

Cheers, Dave.

I used Stefan's 35L for a wedding, on a 5DII. It made nice images, good color and contrast as far as I remember, focus performance was ok, but on FF I found 35mm too wide. It felt like an older lens design too.

I agree, on FF id want 50...but thats just me. And its very very very old, 1993 I think in fact but its focus is still pretty damn fast all things considered.
