The Detroit Pistons came to little old Toledo for an exhibition game vs the Wizards. It was a great time.

I shot everything at ISO1600 wide open with the 55-250. I tried to keep shutter speed at 1/250-1/320.

I've been to Sedona many years ago, fantastic desert scenery. There is an article in the New York Times today (online) on Sedona - about all the "negative energy" in the area due to the sweat lodge deaths

I'll have to check that out .. I sure didn't feel any negative energy during the five days I was there, it was absolutely delightful and gorgeous!

Here are a few from an air show this past weekend.

Nice composition and processing. The colors really pop.

Hi all

I'm new round here, and to DSLR photography, but I have to say, I am seriously impressed by the images posted on here from such a humble camera. I came across this thread whilst researching DSLR's to purchase, and have visited every day since.
I now own one, so if I get any good shots I'll post them up for your C&C.
I'm absolutely fascinated by this hobby and hopefully will be for many moons to come. Can't believe a thread has run for over 2 years, but I'm sure glad I stumbled across it
Keep up the good work guys and gals. You have truly inspired me.

Chris

Just remember to press the shutter button twice if you lock the mirror up (in single shot mode). ;) j/k

I think this has to be my favorite water drop shot ever, Watt! It's colorful, unique and has a sci-fi look to it -- perfect!
