Holiday Newborn Pictures

Just shot this 8 day old newborn last night, such a good baby, slept throught the whole session. (sorry the picture quality is kind of bad, Im at work and did a screen shot of my facebook account to upload the pictures) they are OOF in my orignals

that first one is stunning (could be a bit brigher though) and the 2nd two's quality isnt the greates (maybe through uploading?)But still cute!

my only complaint is that it's WAY TOO EARLY to think about Christmas - shame on you ! :P hehehe I wouldn't want a Christmas picture of my newborn right now though because they change so much in these first few months.

Other than those complaints - this baby is gorgeous!! I love the first picture - it's my favorite!!!!

I did it as advertising for my upcoming sessions, the client got a ton of photos and this was just extra, so don't see nothing wrong with doing it now.

As for the quality as I said I did a screen shot off of my facebook page so of course it looks like that but the original is sharp.

SO cute! I would love to see more from the shoot! Love the holdiay pics with the presents and pumpkins! I have been trying to come up with something like this for my newborn shoots, great idea!

I have to assume you meant to say the originals are Not OOF?

Anyhow, In my opinion the blacks are too deep in 2 and 3 - everything looks like they are floating in nothingness. I think doing those on a reflective surface would look better too.

cdrumeller: great pictures! What type of lens do you use for most of your work??? I am looking to upgrade to the 50mm f1.4...any thoughts? Suggestions?
