Came home and saw this:

IMAGE: http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/8056/screenshot20101024at310.png

The card won't format from the body and won't format both on a mac and a PC. I have some photos on there that I'd like, but I need the card more than anything else.

Has the card gone bad?

Can you view the images in the camera? If so, you can try transfering it from the camera to the computer via the USB cord.

I can't view any images from the card, and I cannot view them from the camera.

Card is no longer in warranty. :(

You just shot on this card? Are the images on it important? Then use recovery software.

Download recovery software... PhotoRescue is my favorite: http://www.datarescue.com/photorescue/download.htm (external link) ( You can demo the software... it will allow you to recover the images but you can't open them until you buy the software.) Anyway see if PhotoRescue can see the CF card in it's current state. If so recover the images.. If not... format the card on the computer to Fat then use PhotoRescue.

+1. As long as they're not knock-offs purchased through eBay.
