From Little Chute (near Appleton). I'm a beginner and would love to meet up with people from the Fox Valley who wouldn't mind teaching along the way.

Have you heard of Fox Valley Camera Club? We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Town of Menasha Community Center - 7:00. Fairly informal, we try to have an educational segment and usually a show and tell or competition. Jackie Thanks Jackie! I'll try to make it.

And I do prefer a warmer climate, but I'm cool with the weather as long as I can drive the roads. Gives me a chance to take the sleds out.

You look right at home on the sled. Unfortunately, the tourist will overrun the place from June through the first week of September. However, the WI Dells locals are really nice folks so it's not so bad. Welcome and enjoy Wisconsin! My Gear: 7d, XTi, 17-55f2.8 EF-S, 70-200f4L, 28-135 Kit lens, 2-580EXii

The huge influx of kids from Europe that don't seem to be aware of the fact that they're rather rude are what worries me. That and traffic. I'm about 5 miles north of Broadway (the downtown strip), so I may find myself back tracking to avoid the traffic. But every place has it's good and it's bad. I haven't had much time to shoot the scenery, but it seems like I could spend a week driving and find an awesome spot every mile or two.
