I am trying to decide what I want to do. I am thinking of signing up with one of these two companies but I am confused about a couple of items. One is that I will be signing up for the pro account and using my own domain name which I know that I need to purchase separately, but what I need to know is how do you handle emails.
I know that zenfolio does not handle emails, so do I need to sign up for hosting plan through another company in order to have my email to be jrose@blahblahblah.com (external link)?

I got my domain and email through a SmugMug/Go Daddy thing. It's worked out pretty good for me for the past 3 years.

I use Zenfolio, have my domain name pointed to my site, and I use godaddy to accept my mail to my domain and forward it to a gmail account. Works very well :-)

Yep, this is how we do it at SmugMug. We recommend GoDaddy but you can use any service :).

Thank you for the info. It makes sense to me now. Now just to decide which one that I want to go with. Since we have a SmugMug rep here, Zac do you all have any promos going on right now?
