It's got one built in! ;-)a

Eat my hat! :) I had to look that up and your right! You can tell how little I know about the new phones. But I bet you can't bounce that flash off the ceiling or use it off camera :p

I must confess, I use one all the time. Can't carry the big guns in my purse. :)

Variously an SD990 (always with me), A630, SX1 or the cameras on my Nokia N97 or BlackBerry.

I use an S90 when the 40D is back at home.
For trips with the kids hanging on my neck,
there's no room for a DSLR. S90 does a great job filling in.
Of course it's not the same, but it's good enough for sure.

I sometimes wish I had a purse. I have a fanny pack, but maybe I need one of those "man purses" haha Good to hear from you SuzyView.

I carry a lot of stuff in my purse, but didn't have a camera and saw the most beautiful sunset outside the Ruby Tuesdays where we had dinner. I had my Droid, so I used it. Not great, but what I got on me. Still, better than nothin.

Previously had a A570IS from my first yr of digiphoto but sold it. I was gonna go with a S90 or G11, but the sigma dp2 sounded too good to pass up. Sadly its gaining dust because its competing with a rebel, a EOS3 film, and a new 5D.

S90 and iPhone 4 go everywhere with me. Both are very capable imaging tools that I use alongside my DSLRs. I find myself reaching for the iPhone more and more. Am even considering producing my Masters work with it :)

I have a 7D and a T1i, but for times when I don't want to lug around lenses and bodies, I now have an S95 that is more portable.

Both the back panel LCD and the EVF? Or just the LCD on the swing-out back panel?

I used to carry my 40D 9and 30D before that) almost everywhere. As they say, the best camera is the one you have with you, and the best one to have with you is the best one you own ;-)a

Ive had compacts over the years but these were really only for the odd occasion i couldn't be bothered to take a DSLR out, or sometimes just as a video camera. and i would always hesitate to use them for any special occasions.
Since i got my S90 last year, and now one a S95 i hardly use my 40D. I feel the S90/95 is good enough to carry around all the time, and i dont feel like i will regret just taking that.
For special occasions or holidays etc i will still take my 40D but i dont have many of those these days.
