Hi!!
I'm new at the whole photography thing, I'm from Canada and I'm looking to purchase backdrops...I want to purchase from Canada because living here i'm thinking the shipping may be cheaper.
I'm looking for a Christmas backdrop, something to do Santa pictures with, Do anyone know of Canadian websites I could find this??
Please help me..

I'll tell you that I do very well purchasing through a few providers on eBay; some of my favorites and most frequently used backdrops have come from there. If your going for painted muslins or computer generated backdrops, the reality is many of them are produced in Asia anyway.

I just bought a Christmas tree backdrop from a Canadian vendor and it is not too bad. It was exactly the same as the one from overseas, but already on this side of the ocean and even though the seller had only 1 feedback, I took a chance and everything worked out okay. Here is a link to their store-

The only problem I have so far is that it has some pretty bad wrinkles in it and it is 'painted' instead of printed so I can't just toss it into the dryer. I've got it hanging up and have hit the back with some steam, but the wrinkles are not coming out :( I won't need it for another week or two, so hopefully they will lay out a little by then.
