Skip or anyone else for that matter. I take pictures in RAW and import to Lightroom 2.7(I haven't went to ver.3 until I get problem resolved). It doesn't happen initially but after pics are there for a while, they start getting corrupted(all the bright colors) and some of them even disappear(turn black). I've tried new cards and a new card reader and it still happens. I tried shooting jpeg and import to Lightroom and it still happens. Idid have a friend put on his computer and it didn't happen but don't know how long it he left on computer. It may happen right off the bat on import or a couple of days later. I have a Panasonic FZ30 and took some pics with it and put in Lightroom and they are fine as of last night. So I don't know if it's computer or camera. Very frustrating!! Thanks for any help.
I think we need a LOT more information.
When you say that "after pics are there for a while", do you mean that you've left one image displayed by Lightroom for a period of time (minutes, hours, days, ??) the image starts getting corrupted? Or do you mean that you can view the image for a few minutes today, shut it off, then view it for a few minutes tomorrow and see differences?
What I'm trying to figure out is whether your software is corrupting files or just what. Please try to explain in more detail what your problem is all about.
Try something. Make an image with the computer. Copy the RAW file to the computer TWICE, in different locations. Open one RAW file with whatever software you wish and do whatever you do to see the problem. After you see the problem, close that file and the software. Then open the other copy of the RAW file and see what condition it is in.
