Regarding the Steve McQueen shot, The Thomas Crown Affair was all filmed in Boston. Bullitt was in San Francisco, or at least the car chases were. He was a gritty cop in Bullitt. Seems like he would be overdressed for that roll in the photo...

I just picked up a second flash and was just messing around.

There you go Al, you are always a step ahead! That's why I like you! :) Thanks for the tips... I'm such a fan of the new Thomas Crown Affair that I once rented the older one to see 'where it came from'. Being a movie freak, I'm not that much into oldies... I really need to be in the mood :).

Thanks again,
Rafa.

Turns out my hunch was wrong--that picture is from San Fran (I didn't notice the hill behind him!)
Actually, though, I'm too into oldies. I drive everyone crazy, because most people find them very dull. I actually majored in film history, as an undergraduate and graduate student, so I like "classic" films. That said, I don't consider 1968 old (I'm older than that!).
If you want to see a movie with inspirational photography, watch 1927's "Sunrise";)

Newish around here, did a more traditional type self portrait before shaving my head. Set up everything myself and had an assistant pull the trigger.

That is really awesome Chairman! Great great great idea!

Here was my yesterdays, it's not exciting at all.

Nice flare - you're getting good at those! :)

Easy to do in Flickr - click on "Share This">Grab the HTML/BBCode>BBCode>[choose what size]>copy the HTML code in the large window above>paste here

...simples! ;)
