I just received my new AB800 earlier this week. This weekend I started doing some testing. I have not been able to get my PW to fire it. I am using a stereo mini to stereo mini (male both ends)
I tested my PW's with other flashes worked fine
Used the pc to mini (camera to AB) worked fine
Tried another mini to mini ( PW to AB) No work
Jumped across the mini with a paper clip AB fired

I think you need mini to mini mono cable not stereo but I have heard from someone on this forum that stereo works. All mine are mono.

Yeah, what Bobby said is true. ABs will not work with PWs if you use a stereo cable. It has to be a mono cable.

Make sure you don't get an attenuating cable, either.

If you really need to use the stereo cable, the trick is to slightly pull one end out of either the PW or the AB. I've had to do this a few times myself. haha.
