i am not making fun of the things you said. Quoting yourself, on the other hand is too good of an opportunity to miss when it comes to a friendly joke. And... as for drawing attention to yourself... it's been a year and half too late

How does the softlighter compare to an octa? I need a main and I think I would prefer one of these to a softbox. I have a 42" shoot-through umbrella that I'm using as main right now with a 32" umbrella for fill though I am using the strip box more and more. I cannot afford a elinchrom octa so I was considering the fotodiox 60" unless it just utter crap that I should avoid. Having used the umbrella I prefer using it as a bounce than shoot through as the light is softer but I do not know if that would apply to the softlighter vs the octabox.

my 46" softlighter arrived today, hopefully it reproduces masterpieces
