i would find something else in the forest that doesn't eat up the whole dress and makes it invisible...because fashion photography is all about selling the fashion item on the model what ever it is...and if that fashion item is not clearly visible, than fashion photography is loosing it's own meaning...thang good the client didn't think that :D

and what does it matter how much money u got there? I'm a graphic designer and I earn 500$ in a few minutes with drawing a simple logo of the top of my head...

don't take me wrong i love your photo's and u'r a great photographer and retoucher ...i just don't like the concept here...

if it was me i would probably also did it in a forest but against another type of bacground...maybe :D

on the other hand, it is all about how you look at the photo.
Of course it doesn't matter how much one got paid, that was just to make you answer it more clearly :)
The clients almost NEVER know what they want. THat's 1.

As for the dress, if you really look at the pics, and this is just according to the color theory - the bushes with reds compliment the dress and make it "at home" there. You have dark area in the background and the poses of the model compliment those. The whole scene makes sense from the color and the composition point of view. I am not proving the point and trying to make you like these crappy shots, but if you are wanting to get all technical, this is the answer I have for you.

I'm sorry if the point of fashion photo. is selling the product(and it is)...then it should be clearly visible what u are selling...and i just said your background is distracting me from clearly seeing it...and thats only my opinion and that is how i work...u don't have to agree...

goodness, what does it take to make you respond to a SIMPLE question? :)

This is how I regard ANY criticism. I love it! BUT - when you are getting into technical details like that - please have something under your belt to show that you know better. So far - not good.

I am not trying to make you go out and scout. This is a hypothetical situation. You see the dress - then pick out ANY location that you would think would fit it. Is it that difficult? :):):)
