Found this bobcat near Phantom Lake in Yellowstone Park last January.

My mom lives about 100 miles from you (northeast of Cape Girardeau) and my cousins see bobcat there all the time. They are pretty reclusive so you have to get away from it all to see them.

Whereabouts? I'm from southern IL and was born in DuQuoin. Of course, I never saw any cats there, either! We have a cattle ranch of around 600 acres, and there's quite a bit of timber on it. We see plenty of other wildlife, but I just don't have the glass to reach it for photos.
