I don't think I shared these. Shot from the back seat of a Challenger II Ultralight while landing at Casa Grande, AZ (KCGZ):

This was the welcome sight of the end of the runway as we were coming into San Francisco last year.......it was a bit disconcerting to see the bay very close to the window ! I'm sure the pilot dipped his wheels in the water, just to wind us up.

Here are a few my shots from flying the kc10 around the world. I took all of these when I was the pilot not flying, resting in the jumpseat.

Thanks... Nice to know what I'm looking at (that I'll probably never see from the Pointy Part)

It is hard to photograph from the cockpit while flying. In the 747 a major issue is the inch thick curved and layered and heated cockpit windows are horrible optically. So most of my air photo work is done from my Supercub, where I can open the door and shoot as wide or narrow as necessary. With a stick you can fly with your knees, or with a grip shoot with one hand. Not always optimal.

I have landed on Alaskan Glaciers, though not at this specific shot. This one is of the upper part of Denali, 20,320 ft with a Canon 5D MKII and 24-105.
