Amongst other really superb shots, I especially find yours endearing. It's just so awesome. I love the mood created by the treatment, it's awesome.

Took the opportunity to get some night photography under my belt the other day. We went to a local Fireworks display and got the following shots.

Thanks, Gekko18, johk, and D_M! The exposure times varied, the one on the top was 252 shots at 30 seconds each which equals about 2 hours and 6 minutes. The middle one is about 1 hour and 40some minutes. And the bottom on is the most at 2 hours and 15 minutes. And I took them over two nights, in Joshua Tree. This is my second attempt at star trails so I still am getting a feel for it, hopefully some better stuff is in the near future.

For guys with this lens, I am wondering about a couple of (less expensive) filters, and wondering if they would be suitable to the 10-22.

Are these 2 any good? And are they gonna be slim enough to not vignette?

I have used Marumi UV filters on my lenses and done tests with and without, and notice no picture quality differences on my 18-55 and 55-250 Canon kit lenses.

So I need to get an ND and a UV for my 10-22 Canon UWA lens, and after having a look on eBay I found these 2 for half the price of in the Aussie stores.

Anybody tried them out?

Would the Marumi from Citywide be identicle to what I can buy at camerahouse locally?

Are the Marumi ND filters any good?

I actually made a thread here also: https://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=957875

I also have Marumi Super DHG 77 CPL, and works great with my 24-105 and 10-22, no vignetting.

What are you using to stack and process? If PS, what settings?
