It's a 1955 Bel Air (however most of the Bel Air trim has been removed and it's actually more like a model 210... for those who like details )
It is rebuilt with a modern engine etc., Big Block Chevrolet 502 cui (or 8,3 liters). Lots of torque and very fun to drive ;)
It has the same paintjob underneath as on the body.
A street machine like this one never gets finished... The last thing I did was to rebuild with modern power steering and hydraulic power brakes.

I have a BIG passion for American Iron

It is a SWEET ride man.. I'm a ford guy down to the bone, but I love the old 50's chevy's and late 60's camaros.

PM me and I'll send you a link

I can digest the Fords as well... the pickups from the 50s are great and all the 32,33,34 models are so cool :D

Real nice '55 Candersson. I take it you did a FRAME OFF restoration, ya have any more pics of it? Where did ya find it? Are there many American Iron type cars in your neck of the woods?
