Seems like a lot of people are posting about new purchases and christmas isn't even here yet. Lots of contenders for camera model purchase, but I want to limit this in scope to three models, all of which are more current releases.

The Canon 7D, T2i, and 60D because they all fall into that $1500 or less pricing bracket.

I bought a 7D, but it wasn't a new idea for me as it is my 2nd 7D body.

I'll be needing a new computer soon. The warranty on my 24" iMac goes up next month and I want to replace it with a 27". I had the money set aside for it but a deal came along on another 7D that I could not let go!
