Hit it with a blower then compressed air, then wet clean it if that fails. If you use the can of air, remember that you can kill your sensor that way if you turn the can and get liquid on it.

Thanks, Rocketblower did the trick.

OK, please excuse the fact that my first post in here isn't a duck, but after reading this entire thread for a few weeks (yeah, it took me a while but it was very informing as well as entertaining) - I jumped in and bought an E+ from Adorama. WOW! This is an incredible camera - I shoot PJ and high school sports for 6 weekly newspapers and a daily. This was a huge jump from my 5d mk II and my 50d.

This shot is from the first game I used the MKIII for this past friday.

I owe you all a duck, just wanted to give a quick bump to this thread.

Got it done. I forgot I had the software that came with my other cameras.

Thanks.

Use EOS utility. It's on the CD.

Well, it's there but, like DPP, it is an "update" meaning you have to have "evidence" of it being previously on your computer. Check out this site for how you can set up your computer to do the update (it has the stuff for Utilities as well as DPP and ZoomBrowser and other stuff):
