You know i'm eating my own words now. Even if my 7d is defective at some point, when i got out the previous day baring that in mind and trying to overcome this annoyance, i really started to love this camera. Though i still got some shots with the issue, but the quality of files it delivers is great. And u got to love the grip, my pinky is no longer hanging in the abyss...

harcosparky: Eww, very nice! what is that monster ? it looks huge. Great detail on the fly, with more exciting lighting it would have been something to frame and nail to the wall. :)

Mark II: Nice shot! you somehow managed to get everyone else blurry and just that guy in the centre of the shot more in focus. I have no clue how you did it but i like it. :)

artyman: That looks great, but you forgot to include your photo. :D

^^ Greats shots Julian as well as the other shots in your SmugMug Civil War reenactment set. These were all shot with the 100-400?

At first it looks like a horse's ass. But click it, and it turns into a unicorn!

Thanks. :) The ones posted here were all 100-400, all wide open (for the FL). In my smugmug gallery, all but the last 3 were 100-400. The last 3 taken w/ the 17-55.

You have some beautiful kids. What lens did you use on these?

I echo Downs sentiments. A couple of wonderful portraits with the 70-200/4 IS (based on the exif and your gear list).
