i'd die if you could make that image process into a canon custom style set so we could shoot those directly with the camera.
i looove my custom styles, use them when ever i turn the camera on.

nice lens, now I'm guessing you would like more than 200mm for wildlife shots:wink:

That's for sure! :( And for sports, my main interest. But I can't complain, it is a great lens. Here are more recent shots with the lens (70-200L 2.8 )

Hello all

Love the pictures on this thread, wish I had more time to shoot more pictures that I could post.

Here is one that I grabbed recently, I know the focus point is on the rocks behind the sealion I am unsure how to get it right (I used AI servo). I guess i could have focused on the ball before the shot but I was a bit hurried. I processed the image in DPP and adjusted the colors. CC welcome.

Like you said, the focus is on the rocks, so it makes the subject out of focus. Did you have the shutter half depressed before the sea lion jumped to get the ball?

Ya. I thought with ai servo it should readjust the focus when he jumped. I guess I missed it.

Thanks

I am completely new to DSLR's I just purchased my XSi and have been taking some photos with it. My question is that, how can I make my pictures sharper? When I shoot the photos and then resize them to print my photo's come out all pixelated. Here's an example.
