:)
I think it will be much better.
:)

Nice work Kini (love the last shot...she's a cutie), no worries shooting non Canon, just post which model camera you're shooting I think that would be helpful:)

Thanks.

D700.

Just switched over a couple weeks ago after a nice 4 year run with Canon.

Some things are better, some things are not and some things are just "different". :)

Keeper she is! I'll fine tune tonight with the focus chart, but it looks really, really close at 0 MA. More pics to follow for sure. I'll tell you this, the CA is defiantly less than the SigmaLux wide open. I'm impressed so far!

Just ordered mine this morning (for D700) after reading through this (and many other) threads. Can't wait to get it!

For those that missed out on the Abe's deal (like me), I ended up coming across another great deal through Ebay. They sent me a 10% off coupon via email and I used it to buy this lens from Adorama's Ebay store for $825 w/2-day shipping! Check your Ebay inboxes to see if you have the coupon.

wow, i did not realize how much of the electronics inside the sigma would get exposed if you moved the lens while it was at minimal focal distance setting. you basically see the whole circuit board!

i am selling the nifty. and the 70-200 looking for a telephoto prime its either this or the 135L but idk, i still feel kind of iffy about the FL on the 135mm.

135 is REALLY long in the tooth (216mm) for a 7D. The FOV for the 85 is 136mm on a crop... just say'n. ;)

Agreed. f/1.4 @ 85mm is INSANE. RAZOR thin DOF, and bokeh to die for.
