Had I managed to get up when I wanted to the snow effects would have been better however I'm terrible at dragging myself out of bed, especially in winter!
2 & 3 I like em, mainly cos 2 was the first time I'd gotten a photo of the Royal Train and 3 it's because it was one of the first outings of the locomotive in question after a repaint. It was also one of the first night time rail photos I did with my 50D.
Thanks for the comments though!

On from Stockholm Central Station.

The train is an X2 (X2000) capable of 125 mph and can tilt to take curves at higher speeds.

Not so much a good "train shot" as a good portrait. Bittern at Common Bottom outside Wilton in the UK.

Like the flames coming out of the stack of the GE AC44CWCTE in the first photo. GE 4 cycle engines are famous for this, while you rarely ever see flames from the stack of an EMD 2 cycle engine.
