Such a deal. Make the discount eleven bucks instead of ten and I'm all over it. Not.

Nobody gets my ssi checks. But I'll gladly pay for it with counterfeit foodstamps. They're good copies, I promise.

Nah, not interested. Those lenses are for suckers and artsy fartsy dudes like Shomat.

I had two 85L's, both Mark I and II. Neither were sharp wide open.

Maybe Nick can answer this....:) I am looking for a set of remote triggers for my flash. Just one flash. I don't want to go too cheap and having the receiver breaking off from the light stand. I got interested in the Impact Powersync 10 unit. One thing I am not too clear on it is that can the transceiver "alone" trigger my 430ex? Do I also need the receiver too?

yes, you need the receiver too, and you may also need one of these: http://www.flashzebra.com/products/0126/index.shtml (external link)

did you look for cybersyncs? they are very reliable, and i have a feeling the impact triggers are based on the ebay triggers. you may even find a deal in the Sell section of the forum.

on second thought, i think what you need is this http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ync16_DC_Radio_Slave.html (external link)

powersync 10 if for studio strobes, not really for speedlites. the 16 has a hot shoe for flash, so you don't need the sync cord.

did you consider the canon ST-E2 IR transmitter?

Nah, too expensive. I think I will settle for one of the cheaper ones around $50 to $70.

I just took a brief look at B&H's UHF flashes, and thats not going to get you anything radio if you're paying less than $100....
A cheap one would be this (external link) which just detects other flashes and triggers its own via PC cord

I am thinking about this one:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …_INT492_Hot_Shoe_and.html (external link)

Or this one:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com …ies_iSync_4_Wireless.html (external link)

I don't mind spending a bit more if I would be using it a lot. Based on what I have been shooting, off camera remote flash isn't really necessary. I need it on Thursday for some indoor family shoot.
