So, I decided to treat myself to something nice and decided on getting a lens. The allure of a 35L wore out after I rented it for 21 days and while I liked it, don't really think I need it anytime soon. I have a 17-40L which I will never get rid of ( I do a lot of landscapes) a 50mm 1.4 (need to use it more) but I have seen its potential on photostreams such as Jordan voth etc. While I like the 135L, I don't do a lot of head shot type portraits, instead I opt for candid type photos with my 50.

I knew I wanted something with a nice zoom range. I have 2 dogs that I have been wanting to shoot (both literally and figuratively lol) for a while now, so I decided on a 70-200. I don't need the IS since I won't be shooting in low light, and I would love the 2.8 but $$.. I found a used 70-200 f4 going for 460 or so on lensrentals.com. The condition appears to be pretty good, so I picked it up! Should be here tomorrow! I am really excited to have this lens, can't wait to add it to my arsenal and try it out! Hoping I won't be disappointed!
